Design Your Product

You can start exploring our product range from the product carousel on the
Home page, by clicking any of the product category buttons on the left, or by browsing the Product Range page.

Once you have found a product that you like, you can click on the "Click here to design" button and you will be taken to the Design Your Own (DYO) page for your chosen product.

All DYOs have a tutorial version and a tutorial-free version. First time users are encouraged to select the tutorial version. By following the tutorial instructions, designing your product is easy.

Generally speaking, you will be asked to select a shape and size for your product and, if relevant, a stand and border type. You will be invited to add your inscription to your design, select a font, size and position your inscription to suit your design and if relevant select a colour for your inscription. If you are a first time user you are encouraged to add only 3 or 4 lines of inscription at a time until you become familiar with sizing and positioning the text on your design.

You will then be invited to add one or more of the various motifs that are available to your design. The motifs that are available are stainless steel motifs, glass backed motifs, raised glass backed motifs, bronze motifs, and laser-etched artwork motifs. Not all motifs are available on all products. The icons in the left-hand menu of the DYO will indicate which motifs are available for the product that you are designing.

You will also be invited to add an image to your design. The images that are available are ceramic photos, porcelain overlays, porcelain inlays, lifetime images, laser etched granite images, laser etched granite inlays and laser etched granite overlays. Not all images are available on all products. The icons to the upper right of the DYO screen will indicate which images are available for the product that you are designing.

At any stage during the design process you may click "Check Price" on the lower left hand menu of the DYO to obtain an itemized price for every element of your design. When you return to your design you can delete any unwanted elements from your design by highlighting that element and clicking "Delete".

When you are satisfied with the design you can save it to your saved designs. At a future time you can Log in to your saved designs on our web site by entering your email address and password. From your saved designs you can email your design to your relatives & friends, save the design to your hard drive, edit your design or buy your design.
