Go through our product range and on choosing something you like, clicking the ‘click here to design’ button starts the process.
The website has various tutorials to help you. We encourage first time users to choose option with step by step instructions, which will make the whole design process a lot easier. It will walk you through each stage explain what this option is and the aspects of it. At any time you can click the Check Price button as the design online system calculate each step as you go along.
Design creation
- Choose the size and shape for your product, with a stand and border if required.
- You can add your inscription to the design. Choose a font, colour and size, and then position the wordings to suit your design. First time users are encouraged to add only 3-4 lines at a time till you get familiar with sizing and positioning the text on your design.
- Next add one or more of the available motifs to your design. Choose from stainless steel, bronze, laser-etched artwork, raised back motifs and glass backed motifs.
- Available images to use are ceramic photos, lifetime images, laser etched granite images, inlays and overlays and porcelain overlays and inlays.
You can click on the ‘click price’ button found at the lower left hand menu of DYO during any stage of the design button to get an itemized price for all your design elements. Then return to your design and delete any unwanted elements by highlighting the element and clicking ‘delete’.
Save the final design you are happy with in your saved designs. You can then log in to these saved designs on our site whenever you want by entering your email address and password. You can then email your design from the saved design to friends and relatives, edit the design, save the design to your hard drive or buy your design.
