A light reflective plaque is built rather than cast or engraved. Your inscription, motifs and border are cut right through a face of marine grade stainless steel. Behind the cut-outs sits glass in the colour you choose, backed by a reflective medium that makes the lettering glow as daylight moves across it, and the whole assembly is sealed by a full stainless steel backing plate. The result is a plaque that will not crack or disintegrate with ground movement, keeps a readable inscription for lifetimes, and looks like nothing else on the niche wall.

From Your Screen To The Finished Plaque
Our artists lay out your inscription, motifs and border, then the design is precision cut through the stainless steel face. The coloured glass and reflective backing are fitted behind the cut-outs, a ceramic photo is added if you have chosen one, and the full backing plate is fixed to seal the plaque. The picture here shows a real online design beside the finished plaque; what you build is what we make.
Because the whole design is cut as one piece, you are not charged per letter: verses, long inscriptions and detailed motifs are simply part of the design.

Cemetery Requirements
Cemeteries set their own rules on plaque sizes and mounting, and it is the family’s responsibility to confirm them before ordering. Send us the cemetery name and we will check the requirements for you. In Perth we work to the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board rules at Karrakatta, Fremantle and Pinnaroo Valley; elsewhere we deliver Australia wide. Trademarks, club crests and service emblems need written permission from the owner before we can reproduce them.

What is a light reflective stainless steel plaque?

Three types: a glass backed patterned border sitting flush with the face, the same pattern as a raised border, or a plain raised border without pattern. The designer previews each one on your plaque.
How is the plaque fixed?
Plaques can be supplied with rear corner fixing holes and dowel fixing pins for mounting on stone, concrete or walls, or with a separate or integrated stainless steel stand so the plaque presents at an easy reading angle.
