A light transmitting plaque glows from within. Your inscription, motifs and border are laser cut through two layers of marine grade stainless steel, and glass in the colour you choose is held between them. When natural light passes through the glass backed lettering, the effect is that of stained glass, without the fragile nature of stained glass, and the two layer assembly makes the plaque highly vandal resistant. It will not crack or disintegrate with ground movement, the inscription never fades, and the plaque arrives with its own inbuilt stainless steel stand. How A Light Transmitting Plaque Is Made

Glass in your chosen colour is fitted between the layers so light can pass through, and the assembly is finished by hand with its integrated stand. The reflective style has a mirror like medium and a solid backing plate behind the glass, so it glows by reflecting daylight and can mount flat on stone or a wall. The transmitting style lets light pass right through, so it suits positions where light can reach the back, and it comes with an inbuilt stand.
How long will it last?
