Our Bronze plaques are manufactured from the finest material adding to our extensive range of cemetery products. Bronze is a traditional plaque with usage dating back to Egypt 1570BC, therefore proving its age and resistance to corrosion. Bronze Production
Our bronze plaques are cast and painted and then the top surface of the inscription, motifs and border is machined to highlight the natural bronze colour. The background is painted with a high quality paint of a colour selected by our customer. When the manufacturing operation is complete, the whole plaque is sealed with a high quality clear lacquer that helps to preserve the bright shiny colour of the natural bronze.

Designing Your Plaque
As a customer you have the opportunity to create a personalised plaque design using the exclusive design tools avaialble through our our website.
Within this very simple design system, you start by selecting the preferred shape, size, background colour and border of your plaque and drafting your personalized inscription with a choice of fonts.
You may upload your own image, which can be added to your design as an attached photo with a choice of ceramic or vitreous enamel images.
We have also made available an extensive library of thousands of motifs for you to choose from. These motifs will be raised and of the same bronze colour as the border and inscription.
At any time during the design process, you can click the check price button to determine the price of the design.
You may save and edit your design as often as you like, even email your saved designs to family and friends.
Once you are completely happy with your design, you can order online.
Cemetery Requirements
All cemeteries have rules and regulations that must be adhered to, please check with your cemetery prior to purchasing confirming any requirements they may have. This is the responsibility of the customer. If you are unsure please contact us to see if we can assist. Please be aware Invocare Funeral/Cemeteries are strict, the Invocare name will be shown at the bottom of their websites for clarification – Our bronze plaques meet their requirements.
All Cemeteries will adhere to the Australian Standards if the shire or council present you with no particular no rules or regulations.
Before an order is placed for one of our plaques these issues should be discussed between the customer and the cemetery to ensure that the needs of all parties are satisfied.
A popular cemetery plaque size is
380 millimeters x 280 millimeters or 560 millimeters x 305 millimeters
Trademark and Copyrights
If there is a trademark or copyright associated with an image or logo that is required on a plaque, please ensure that paid or written permission for us to reproduce the image or logo is provided by the owner of the trademark or copyright and that permission is supplied with the order. The order will not be processed without that permission.

Size Range
The smallest bronze plaque you can make online is 100 x 60 mm or 4″ x 2″ inches including 3 lines of inscription
The largest size to design online is 560mm x 400mm or 16″ x 22″ inches including 8 lines of inscription

Plaque Border
There are ten different border motifs to choose from with the option of no border.
Step 3 of the design online system is select a border.
Mounting Your Plaque
You will be prompted to select a fixing sytem when designing the plaque online
Our recommended option is Lugs with studs – as this can help prevent theft
Other options include flat back, screws visible from the front and also a stake (please contact us)
Choosing Photos:
• Select original photos in colour or black and white, high quality is preferred.
• We can help with editing photos to remove creases, tears, stains, etc charges may apply.
• We can remove the background or other people from images – please contact us or leave comment upon purchasing.
Scanning Photos:
• Please send the photo in an email or email link to a dropbox for larger file sizes
• Ensure photos are not in frames and don’t have protective layers before scanning.
• If you choose the ‘preview’ option before you scan, you can avoid scanning parts of the image you don’t need.
• Generally, a resolution of 300 dpi plus will ensure a good quality image.
• Ensure the scanner bed is clean and dust-free.
• We accept multiple image files such as – PNG, PSD, JPEG, TIFF. As a general rule 5 – 10 Mb file size is acceptable quality for the average photo size.
